Green Crowned Brilliant, Costa Rica october 2009

I worked before with natural and artifical coloured bg, at the end I wanted to put a white bg as cloudy sky or white panel (was thw same...)

Hey, Bruno. Looks great to me. I really enjoyed this setup and working with you. I'm not a big fan of cloning but in this case I might remove one of the catchlights in the eye.

Cheers,

Thanks so much Greg!!
I've also seen in another monitor a bad "white" around the bird. It wasn't a clone work but a bad work with the clear instrument on the Hummingbird...I'm very sorry!

I like the high key look with the light pink and pastel green flowers. Its a different, refreshing look.

Nice refreshing look. I love the dynamic down stroke pose...You might want to play around with your flash setup a bit more. The flowers look a bit flat and could use some more depth.

At first I really didn't like the white background; now I've come for another look, I quite like the artistic and modernistic look about it. I think it's the pink / green flower and the green bird against the stark white BG - I like it.

I find the stark, bright bg somewhat overwhelming, though the pastel flower works well against it. To my eye, the bird is subsumed by the bright area around it.
