I live in southern Ontario with my wife Elaine, where I am an executive of a financial services company. I have had decades of fascination with the natural world, particularly birds, and have traveled the world to see them.
In the year 2000, I became interested in photography and have developed one of the the most extensive collection of bird species by a single photographer, currently including about 1500 species.
My images have been well received for publication and exhibit including the Smithsonian and the Discovery Channel, dozens of publications such as Living Bird, Western Birds, Birdwatch and Ducks Unlimited as well as scientific texts and field guides.
I have found Naturescapes to be my greatest source of practical information as well as a continuing inspiration.
